What you can expect at Peacemakers:

A Welcoming Church

Everyone has a seat at Christ's table, no matter where we are on life's journey.

A Safe Church

It's ok — even encouraged — to be honest about our doubts, questions, and experiences with God.

An Empowering Church

A community culture grounded in the gospel of Jesus Christ, where people are emboldened to grow, serve, and live out their faith in public.

Worship with Peacemakers

Our prayer is that our warm community, uplifting music and practical spiritual messages will help you:

KNOW YOU ARE DEEPLY LOVED BY GOD.

No one is perfect, but we want you to realize you are perfectly loved by God for who you are.

LIVE LIKE CHILDREN OF A LOVING GOD.

We want you to find your identity in belonging to God, not in fear, failure, or shame.

PRACTICE CALM IN A CHAOTIC WORLD.

We want you to learn how to be centered and unafraid in the midst of trouble and pain.

BECOME PEACEMAKERS.

We want you to experience the peace Jesus offers, and then become peacemakers in your home, neighborhood and community.

We are committed to being a church that is known by the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”

- Galatians 5:22-23

MEET PASTOR AARON CARTER

In the summer of 2024, I accepted an invitation from the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church to move from Austin, Texas to St. Louis, MO to participate in a church plant lab.

During the yearlong training at the Gathering UMC, I prayed for guidance on next steps. As I spent time in the city getting to know some of its history, culture and people, I sensed a draw to stay and start an empowering multi-cultural church here.
